(All sites will accommodate many more people if bringing own tents.)
There is a solid shelter on each site (Oak and Birch sites each having access to half of Werneth Lodge). Birch and Oak sites have fridge/freezers and Holly site has a fridge.
Calor gas burners and a water boiler are available to hire. A gas BBQ is also available to hire.
Oak and Birch sites are equipped with Khyam tents and a large frame tent. Holly site is not equipped with canvas unless specifically requested. Each site is supplied ground sheets, blankets, dixies etc. buckets, bowls. A detailed list will be included with the booking form.
There is a toilet block on site with toilets for each campsite, wash cubicles and showers.
Trek carts are available from the warden.
The site is suitable for District, Division and County events.
Male campers - Separate washing and toilet facilities are available for male campers. You may need to provide extra sleeping tents.
The site is an ideal base for Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition camps.
